About Lucy Maddison Design
I founded Lucy Maddison Design over 15 years ago. We work with small companies specializing in logos, branding, and web design. We aim to offer a personal supportive service to our customers. All websites are created in WordPress, fully responsive and Google friendly. We can advise and help with search engine optimisation (SEO) to make your site rate highly.
I have many years’ experience working in design, initially covering broadcast graphics for BBC TV and ITN. I moved over to web design, logos and branding, some years ago. I have also illustrated over 30 children’s books and can bring an illustrated feel to your logo or design.
My studio is based in Streatham, south London.

Design Process
These are some basic guidelines of how the process works and what to expect. However, every job and client is different, and Lucy specializes in supplying a bespoke design for every client.
Define your needs
Provide details about your business and what you want to achieve.
Quote
A quote will be provided with a breakdown of costs if needed.
Collecting Information
Provide data, links to websites, or designs you like or don’t like. Supply photos, text, and media.
Design Stage
You will be provided with up to three designs to choose from, depending on the brief. Once the design is chosen and approved, with any reasonable amendments, 50% of the fee will be due.
Final Product
Website goes live, domain name and hosting arranged.
Print Design Final high resolution PDF/JPEG provided, and printing and delivery arranged if required.
Second payment of 50% due.

Walking Post (my side project)
The Walking Post was founded by Lucy Maddison and Emily Morrison, enthusiastic weekend walkers who regularly head out of London by train to explore the varied countryside of Surrey, Sussex, Kent, and beyond.
We noticed that there weren’t many websites out there offering useful and accessible ideas for walking routes out of London, particularly using public transport. With Lucy’s lifelong love of maps and Emily’s background in writing for the travel industry, the idea of the Walking Post was born!
